With cooler weather approaching and school starting back up, it’s hard to believe that summer is coming to an end. Over the past three months, Werner Logistics has been a part of numerous events that support our mission statement, “to combine premium customer, talent and carrier experiences to deliver industry-leading logistics solutions.”
CUSTOMER – Werner Enterprises’ Transportation Forum
This summer, Werner was pleased to welcome its valued customers and partners to the 2022 Transportation Forum. This annual event includes several valuable topic discussions including economic insights, information on the transportation and logistics industry and company updates from Werner. It was a great opportunity for attendees to hear from speakers, including, Chris Spear, President and CEO of the American Trucking Associations, Derek Leathers, Chairman, President and CEO of Werner Enterprises and even a panel of our very own professional drivers.
The Transportation Forum is an event both the Werner team and attendees look forward to each year. Even with the disruption of COVID-19, the Transportation Forum still took place. With safety being our top priority, it just looked a little different in a virtual format instead. This year, it was great to have everyone back in-person again.
TALENT – Werner Logistics’ Champions Club
Werner Logistics held its annual Champions Club event again this summer. Top performers in our truckload logistics division from across North America and their guests traveled to Omaha for an appreciation event and recognition ceremony. The Champions Club is a great way to celebrate success and bring together associates from a variety of offices to network with their team members.
Werner Logistics had an excellent time recognizing the 2022 Champions Club and those that support them. Congratulations, Heather, Petar, Joselynn, Dallas, Vivi, Candy, Kevin, Eva, Thania and Lauren!
CARRIER– Werner Logistics’ Carrier Awards
At Werner, we believe in putting drivers first, and that belief extends to the alliance carriers we work with. Werner Logistics was honored to host its annual Carrier Awards event in-person this year. We invited a handful of our 35,000 alliance carriers to meet with our team in Omaha. Attendees had the opportunity to collaborate during breakout sessions, hear the latest updates about Werner Logistics and spend time with one another during an evening at the Werner Lodge.
“The carrier forum is a great way to communicate. I love coming to these events,” said Dan, Werner alliance carrier. “You get to see different aspects of trucking, sometimes we get a little closed in with what we do. Being able to communicate with other people that work with Werner in similar situations is really enlightening to how we can improve our business.”
We also held a ceremony where we recognized carriers for our truckload, power only, intermodal and final mile divisions for the following awards:

Even though the summer is coming to an end, we are excited to hold many more events in the future and welcome both new and familiar faces next year. At Werner Logistics, we value living out our mission statement each and every day and will continue to hold events that support it.
