2025 Werner Road Team
The 2025 Werner Road Team (WRT) consists of 12 extremely talented drivers with great diversity in divisions, backgrounds, and experience. There are multiple objectives of the Werner Road Team; however, they can mostly be summed up with the simple phrase, “Drivers helping Drivers.” The WRT goes through a week-long orientation with executives to gain insight to all departments that impact Werner’s professional drivers. Monthly conference calls are held with all Road Team Captains and Werner Management and WRT committee members:
The purpose of these calls is to promote direct communication of ideas and issues from the captains to department leaders to promote positive change. It also allows Werner Management the opportunity to communicate important messages that the WRT can pass along to their fellow drivers. Between conference calls, WRT captains will engage in constructive interaction with drivers they meet out on the road offering assistance and collecting their input on how we can make the company better, especially for our driver associates. Captain only conference calls also occur twice a month.
Captains also participate in many different events throughout the year, including:
- Werner Welcome Experience
- Driver Appreciation Events
- Truck Driver School Visits
- Drivers Education Class Visits and Special Events
Drivers helping drivers, which is what the Werner Road Team is all about.
