Looking Back at 2020 and Into 2021

The phrase “change is inevitable” took a whole new meaning in 2020. Among factory closures, driver and inventory shortages, panic buying and surges, 2020 was a year full of disruption. During this unprecedented time, the nation depended on the work of professional truck drivers, maintenance crews and office associates to Keep America Moving. Transportation and logistics employees worked tirelessly to deliver PPE and essential supplies to stores all across the country. Throughout this dynamic year, these associates stayed extremely busy as the freight demand continued to rise with record-breaking volumes. And thanks to Team Blue, various products were delivered safely and on-time all over North America.

Despite the obstacles in 2020, many important lessons were learned, so we asked our most valuable asset, our people, pieces of wisdom that they acquired throughout the year.

As we enter 2021, the focus remains around our talent, customers and carriers. Even though 2020 had its numerous sets of challenges, there’s still a lot to celebrate and a lot to look forward to in 2021. Our associates also shared some goals they have for the new year.
